Net: 3G/LTE

OS3.5.0 and later

By connecting a compatible modem to the ESP32, you can connect to obnizCloud via 3G/LTE line.

obnizOS receives three pieces of information, APN, id, and password, initializes the modem, and then connects to the Internet.

Supported modems

  • Quectel's BG96 (LTE M1/NB-IoT modem)
  • ABIT's AK030 built-in modem (LTE M1)

The following modems are also supported as beta versions. (Not available for production)

  • u-blox SARA-U2 (3G modem)
