The Intelligent Edge Micro (Micro) is equipped with a ZH8 connector that allows power supply and wired connection to devices.
It is particularly suited for wired connection to devices such as the following.

- Relays controllable via GPIO, or checking contact input
- Communication with various sensors and devices over UART/SPI/I2C/CANBus
